That certainly looks like impending rain.....
ReplyDeleteI was hoping but no rain here.
DeleteDesert mountains are so beautiful...
ReplyDeleteThey sure can be.
DeleteThat reminds me of a Biblical quotation: Psalms 121- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteI would love to have mountains to look at!!
ReplyDeleteThere are mountains all around me.
DeleteHi, Mary!
ReplyDeleteHope you and my buddy Falcor are well and in good spirits, dear friend. Yessum, in the pictures you post, I often notice that the clouds look ominous as they cloak that mountain on your horizon. What a spectacular view you have! For nearly 40 years, I had only the monotonous flat terrain of Florida to look at. Now that I'm back up north, I am enjoying the rolling hills of the mid-Atlantic region, but would love to have a mountain or two beyond my backyard.
I'm returning to blogging with a new post at Shady's Place this Friday, V-Day, and invite you to join the fun. I will also be back here to read your weekly report on the neighborhood. Until then, enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend Mary!
It is a nice view. I'm glad you are enjoying your view now.
DeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThey do look ominous.
ReplyDeleteNot a drop of rain though.
DeleteDid you get any rain out of those clouds? Or dry rain (where you see the rain, but it doesn't make it to the ground)?
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't see any rain at all from these clouds.
DeleteDefinitely a moody day
ReplyDeleteYes, very much so.
DeleteThat is a very pretty and positive picture.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWhat a great shot, well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteCreative sky shot ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

That is a really cool photo, the mountains are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I thought the mountains looked really cool too.
DeleteI agree. You caught them just at the right point to display that.
ReplyDeleteFalcor got me out there at just the right time.
DeleteGreat photo Mary!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThat's how our clouds have been looking lately, too.
ReplyDeleteThe clouds always make for a nice picture. Enjoy your clouds too.
DeleteExactly! Both ominous and cool!
ReplyDeleteYes exactly.
DeleteLovely capture! You're lucky to live in such a scenic area.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI like the lighting on the hills. Despite the ominous clouds they are trying to glow. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
