Garden Flowers
Some of you asked what flowers were in my daughters garden. She used a pack of seeds that said wild flower seed mix. So I have no idea what any of these are. lol I took pictures as they started blooming.
There was one orange flower among all the pink and purple ones.
Only a couple bloomed for a few weeks.
I like the pink and purple ones.
It's nice to see some flowers in the courtyard. At first there were just a few flowers.
Then these two flowers popped up. These are my favorite. What a pretty color.
And then boom! Flowers.
Soon after I took this picture we had several days of high winds and most of the flower stems broke or fell over. It was nice while it lasted.

Lovely while they lasted. A real mood lifter.
ReplyDeleteIt was.
DeleteFor a while, you had a little spot of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteYes, and my daughter plans on growing something else soon or trying to.
DeleteSurprise seeds are fun and the flowers were very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteHow delightful. Since Spring is not here in northern Ohio yet, I love seeing how it is going and growing elsewhere. We have flooding storms this weekend. Then on Monday snow and 23 degrees. Ah, I keep waiting, lol.
ReplyDeleteWow, we already had a day that was 90.
Deletethey are beautiful and cheerful! We have daffodils blooming right now in our yard.
ReplyDeleteThank you. That's really nice.
DeleteSo pretty! And yes, beauty is fleeting, alas.
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
DeleteThose are so nice! We have tried seed packets of wildflowers and they have never grown.
ReplyDeleteSometimes they do and sometimes not. These took forever to grow and sprout flowers.
DeleteThe blue is stunning! What a great color.
ReplyDeleteThe blue is by far my favorite.
DeleteWe keep thinking of having a wild flower patch but haven't got round to it. We must just do it!
ReplyDeleteYes you must.
DeleteVery nice. I guess if the wind hadn't gotten them the temperature would have eventually?
ReplyDeleteProbably. The heat in the Summer kills everything.
DeleteBeautiful. The grass is just starting to green up, I cannot wait for flowers to start blooming here. Next month I'll finally get to plant flowers in my outdoor pots too, that just makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteFlowers always make me smile.
DeleteI think the blue flowers are bachelors buttons. Sorry I can't help you with the others. Too bad about the wind - it's frustrating when Nature's plans conflict with our own. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is. But they were nice while they lasted.
DeleteYou got a really nice mix of flowers in that seed pack. I'm sorry they didn't last longer. But they sure were pretty. :D
ReplyDeleteYes, they were pretty.
DeleteVery pretty! One of the perks of spring.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.

Thank you.
DeleteThe orange one is calendula probably the healthiest plant ever, marvelous for creams and psoriasis.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know that.
DeleteAnd the blue one is blue knapweed, back when we had wheat fields in my family they were filled with it.
DeleteThey are pretty flowers. And I wouldn't know what they are, either.
ReplyDeleteI never know what any of the flowers around here are. lol
DeleteThe flowers are beautiful. You got their photos just in time. :)
ReplyDeleteYes I did. Thank you.
DeleteToo bad the wind took them out, they were all sure pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThe blues ones are cornflowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I want more of those.
DeletePretty but too bad you didn't get to enjoy them for very long.
ReplyDeleteI know. We will have more.
DeleteFlowers really make the world beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThey really do.
DeleteThat's the trouble with strong wind, it destroys so many things. The flowers are indeed pretty and like you I love the colour of the blue one.
ReplyDeleteYes it does. I want more of the blue ones now.
DeleteI am so ready for flowers and Spring!
ReplyDeleteOh I bet.
DeleteI do not know much about flowers, but they are pretty to look at. Thank you for sharing this photos!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteThose are some pretty flowers. I also like that bright blue purple-ish flower you said was your favorite. Those wildflower packs can have a nice variety.
ReplyDeleteYes it was a good pack of seeds.
DeleteSo pretty and they do look lovely while they lasted.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Yes they did.
DeleteSo pretty! Did you bring in the broken bits to make a little bouquet?
ReplyDeleteNo, my daughter is going to try and dry the flowers out to keep them.
DeleteI love those blue ones
ReplyDeleteSo do I.
