Freebie Friday!

Welcome to another weekly Freebie Friday post, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.

A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.

You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.

This week I received:

A Little Freebies Box from Bloomingdales.
A sample of foundation and 5 beauty sponges from a focus group that I did. I just had to take a few surveys to tell them how I liked the foundation. They don't tell you what the foundation brand is but I'm guessing it was IL Makiage since I got a $100 gift code for that site after I was done with the focus group.

With the giftcard I was able to get an IL Makiage brow pen, eyeliner and mascara. I got the giftcard a couple of weeks ago but wanted to wait to post about it until I got my package. The first package was never delivered to me so I contacted customer service and they sent another package out that I did get. Their makeup is expensive.

The Bloomingdales box had several mens colognes and they all smell pretty good.

Did you receive any freebies this week?

  7. Fun gift card. You can pretend you visited the Bloomingdales of vintage era in N Y C when you use your products!

  8. It's always insightful to see how people find value in different ways, and your "Freebie Friday" definitely showcases a unique and resourceful approach. It's understandable that some might be skeptical, but your method of weekly proof speaks volumes. The focus group experience sounds like a clever way to not only get samples but also a significant gift code – navigating those customer service challenges for the IL Makiage products paid off. Getting full-sized products and high-value gift cards truly elevates the freebie game beyond just small samples.

  10. Focus groups are great. Especially if the products are stuff you end up liking.
