Favorite Picture of the Week
There was a big, dark cloud filling the sky on Friday afternoon last week.
And then on Saturday it rained on and off all day long. The rest of the pictures are all from Saturday when it would stop raining so a few minutes so I could take Falcor out.
The sun was setting which made this cloud look really neat to me.
On Tuesday it rained so much that parts of my courtyard flooded.

Fair bit of rain in your courtyard for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe clouds are amazing.
Thank you.
DeleteNice you got some rain. But that last picture looks like the water is within an inch of coming in that apartment - obviously not designed with that kind of rainfall in mind.
ReplyDeleteThat happens a lot around here because they never clean the gutters so the water pools and falls off the gutter right there and pools next to the doors.
DeleteThe sky pictures were beautiful. I bet this amount of rain at one time is probably welcome when it drains off. Get the ground saturated a little bit.
ReplyDeleteYes, we get so little rain so when we do get some it's nice.
Deletewe had rain through last night and we had some beautiful clouds while going to and from Boston!! Love your sky photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I've never been to Boston.
DeleteI think you are getting more rain than we are. We really need some!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some then.
DeleteNice to hear you had at least some rain, we had a rather torrential downpour two days ago, it even leaked through my roof LOL
ReplyDeleteWow, that sounds bad.
DeleteSo many impressive clouds...with rain, for once!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to get a little rain for once.
DeleteThat's a lot of rain! We get plenty here in Scotland haha! Great skies Mary :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you. I would love to see Scotland one day.
DeleteIf you come to visit, I can show you around :-D
DeleteThat would be fun.
DeleteHeavy, threatening skies.
ReplyDeleteIt was. At least those dark clouds produced some rain this time.
DeleteChangeability: one sky pic is very blue.
ReplyDeleteYes it is. Things change so fast. The dark clouds coming off the mountains toward the blue skies was fun to watch as the clouds moved.
DeleteOminous clouds
ReplyDeleteYes they looked like we would get a down pour at times.
DeleteWe had a similar Saturday.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to get a little rain.
DeleteYes, that cloud at the front spanned the whole sky. Yay for some cool, rainy fall days!
ReplyDeleteIt was such a big cloud. I loved all the dark clouds and rian.
DeleteGreat shots Mary. I've seen all the rain you've been having on the weather channel.
ReplyDeleteWe had quite a bit and things got flooded in parts of town
DeleteSounds like you had some good days and some not so.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do love the cloudy days though.
DeleteI like rain and the grey clouds. Though, I enjoy them more when it's hot than when it's cold.
ReplyDeleteI love the cooler days.
DeleteNice to get rain, but maybe not quite that much all at once. And those cloud pics are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteYes it was a lot of rain for sure.
DeleteYour clouds always look so dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI know. Sometimes they produce something and sometimes they don't.
DeleteReally nice photos. Yes, when it rains here my drive way floods. uhhggg...
ReplyDeleteOh no. That sucks.
DeleteThose clouds are pretty but they look a little unhappy.
ReplyDeleteThey might look unhappy but they sure make me happy.
DeleteThe clouds do look ominous.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They do but we got a little rain from them.
DeleteLove how you captured that moment—stormy yet magical! Hope the courtyard flooding wasn’t too bad.
ReplyDeleteThe courtyard always floods a little in spots. Thank you.
DeleteYou got a lot of rain! It's been raining at our house, too. A lot when we were gone as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's now been raining all week.
DeleteMy son has been telling me that it's been really rainy out there.
ReplyDeleteVery dark clouds there
