Freebie Friday!

Welcome to another edition of Freebie Friday, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.

A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.

I bought some more makeup and a set of 3 rollerball perfumes with my Macy's gift card. They also sent me 2 free samples of perfume with my order.

I love that in the past few months I've received so many of the Whole Blends shampoo and conditioner samples because it really is a good brand and they smell good.

The Simply Saline works a little on my mild allergies. I usually use a nasal decongestant when the wind picks up but this works well for the times I have mild congestion.

The Best Food Mayonnaise and Ketchup were really nice to get since I use both mayo and ketchup. The Mayo has the same great taste that I'm used to but it is a more creamier version that mixes well into dips and sauces. The Ketchup is made with honey instead of sugar which is nice for those looking to watch their sugar intake. To me it tasted the same as most ketchups.

My daughter loves dry shampoo, in fact I just gave her two samples bottles I had of it yesterday.

I already use Degree deodorants and I usually get the Cucumber Melon scents but the Shower Clean scent on this one smells really good. I like the Fresh Energy scent as well and will definitely be using both of them now that I have them. The Amethyst Sunset body wash smells so nice. It's nice to get one free so I'll know if I like it before I buy a bottle of it.

I haven't applied for many samples or products from Crowdtap recently because I hadn't seen things that I wanted to try until these boxes of products started to become available and I'm happy I was approved for one. This actually makes my second box of full size products that I've received from them and I am loving these boxes. It's funny because we had just run out of hairspray when this box arrived so we used it right away and both work really well to hold the hair style and not have your hair looking matted down. 

I already use Degree deodorants and I usually get the Cucumber Melon scents but the Powder Fresh scent on this one is my new favorite. I like the Daisy Fresh as well and will definitely be using both of them now that I have them.

My Review

My husband snores...loudly! We have a window air conditioner in the bedroom and it makes a lot of noise when a person is trying to get to sleep plus I have really rude neighbors who will play the music in their cars really loud right outside my bedroom window when they are coming or going. So for a few years now, I've been wearing foam ear plugs.

These ear plugs are not foam, they are a mold-able material that you flatten in and against the ear canal. I'm willing to try anything that will work so the day I received these I used them that night. It took a few minutes to get the hang of fitting this material against the outside and some on the inside of my ear canal when I'm used to fitting a foam ear plug inside my ear. But it was actually easier than I thought it would be and after I had both in, I couldn't hear a thing. Sometimes with foam ear plugs there's still a small amount of sound that I can hear but not with these. I like these more than foam ear plugs because some foam ear plugs hurt my ears and give me a headache, my ears also at times get itchy wearing foam ear plugs but I didn't have either of those issues with this product. 

As you can see, these are completely mold-able. You can mold them into whatever shape you want to start with. 

I started off with a small flat disc and then pinched the middle to form the small piece that would fit inside my ear canal and then firmly pressed the whole thing against my ear. The ingredients for these ear plugs are... Filtered Beeswax, Pure Lanolin, Sterile Cotton, Corn Starch, Grapefruit seed extract.

I can't say how long a pair of these will last because I've only had them for a couple of days but I've read other reviews that say they lasted a long time.

My Review

First of all as soon as I opened the package, I loved the scent of these. The scent that I was sent is Tropical Escape. If you're like me and don't have a washer and dryer in your apartment and have to take your laundry down to the laundry facilities provided by your apartment complex then you know that having to carry a bottle of detergent, fabric softener and bleach if you use it is kinda a pain in the rear. But in using these laundry sheets all I had to do was bring one for each load of laundry and throw them in the washer. You can even transfer it to the dryer and it works as a static cling sheet as well. 

They come with their own holder/dispenser which stands up on my counter top. It's small and doesn't take up a lot of space which is nice. I wasn't sure that there would be enough detergent on these thin sheets to clean an entire load of clothes but we put a load of clothes through the washer an were pleasantly surprised when they came out clean and smelling great. 

I can genuinely say that this product works great and does what it says it will.
