Favorite Song of the Week
Architects are a pretty new band for me but I've found myself listening to them more and more. I really like this song a lot. I hope you enjoy.

DeleteHi, Mary!
ReplyDeleteMe likey, dear friend! "Doomsday" by the British prog metalcore band Architects delivers the goods, unleashing harsh vocal fury backed by a powerful wall of sound. The musicianship is excellent. Released as a single in the fall of 2017, "Doomsday" reached the top 20 on the UK Rock & Metal chart. A year later it was released on the band's album Holy Hell.
I found this Wiki info: << James Gill of Metal Hammer described the band's music as "pumped with both controlled rage and unhindered heart, accessible and ambitious, aggressive and beautiful." I like it like that.
Thanks for introducing me to the sound of Architect, dear friend Mary. It's music to my ears. You and Falcor have a nice day and I'll see you tomorrow!
I'm glad I found another one that you liked. Have a great week.
DeleteI've never heard of this band before, but I do really like this song. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that.
DeleteNever heard of this band. It's great to find new ones!
ReplyDeleteIt is. I love finding new music to listen to.
DeleteI just heard this band mentioned for the first time a few days ago so fun that you posted one of their songs.
ReplyDeleteOh that's very cool.
DeleteThey're darn good and the singer has a good voice, he shouldn't scream too much though he'll tear up his vocal chords.
ReplyDeleteHe does do a lot of screaming.
DeleteI've never heard of Architects before. The screaming isn't quite for me the way some of the other songs you've shared are, but it's a cool song!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you'll like next weeks song more.
DeleteNew to me but I like it!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that.
