Apartment Life #346

This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 25 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 25 years here in a weekly blog post.

Unbelievably it was quiet this week.

I walked by this manhole cover that the guy fell down last week and saw the homeless people had removed the cover again after the fire department had covered the hole after rescuing the man at the bottom of the hole. They are still climbing in and out of it.

Since nothing happened around my neighborhood this week. Here are some pictures from my walks.

Falcor frolicking in the falling leaves. He stopped to stare at the dog across the street.

I spotted some Christmas decorations. An inflatable Santa, Snowman and Christmas tree.

I took this picture because I liked the way this corner looked. I don't know why.

One of the two trees on my street that lose their leaves. The wind was slightly blowing and leaves were falling on the sidewalk.

We had one day where there were some seriously dark clouds and rain over the mountains but we didn't get rain where I live.

That cloud was huge and very dark.

Spotted some Christmas decorations.

Me and my daughter on Thanksgiving.

The high this week was 65F/18C
The low this week was 42F/5C

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  2. Thank goodness you had a week off from the drama. Maybe the druggies all plummeted into the open manhole and weren't around to cause trouble?

I like your daughter's Baphomet pendant. Very Satanic.

    1. lol Oh they are down there.
She loves that pendant. I bought her a black one just like this one too. She's more into witchcraft and paganism than satanism at this moment.

  3. It's incredibly sad that some people have to live underground in the sewer system. It's shelter, I suppose.
Falcor was enjoying his walk- all the sniffs and sights.
Lovely photograph of you and your daughter - you look happy.

    1. It is shelter from the cold. They can light fires down there for warmth.

Falcor loves going for a walk. Thank you. I am happy. I'm finally starting to feel like my old self again after my husband passing away 4 years ago.

  4. A quiet week is good. Although sadly that probably won't be the last person to fall down that sewer hole.

  5. They're going to have to build a wall and blinking lights around that open manhole to avoid another accident. Nice photo, you look great and more like sisters than mother/daughter.

  8. Could it be that the Christmas spirit took over the place? Because no drama at all in a whole week feels surreal...

  11. A week where the most exciting thing is a manhole cover is a win, I'm assuming. You sure have some threatening gloomy skies there. All ours are in this season are dreary grey and white. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
