Apartment Life #356

This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 25 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 26 years here in a weekly blog post.

On two different days a police car has stopped pretty much in the same place on my street and just sat there for a couple of minutes and then left.

The next day another police car stopped right here again and just stayed there for a few minutes. Maybe they were there just in case someone wanted them for something? Who knows.

We had rain one day this week though so maybe that's why it was quiet.

Other than that, it was a quiet week.

The high this week was 62F/16C
The low this week was 39F/3C

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  1. I guess you will never know why the police were there two days in a row - but it just makes one wonder.

  2. Hi, Mary!

Hooray for a quiet week for you and my buddy Falcor! I have a theory to explain the police cars parked on your street. I'm thinking that you have been such a well behaved, model citizen in the neighborhood for so long that it has aroused suspicion. Somebody called the cops just to keep an eye on you. :)

The high and low temps for the week were also reasonable and you got even some rain to ease the drought. Seems like it was a really good week overall, and I'm happy for you.

Take care until I see you again when I return to blogging on March 9, dear friend Mary!

  3. Quiet is good! Your neighborhood usually sees more action in a week than ours does in five years.

  4. As far as you know, do the tunnel people get flooded out when it rains?

    1. Yes they do. We hear sometimes that they don't get out of the tunnels fast enough and get washed down the Wash or drown.

  7. Yea for a quiet week. Maybe the police were asked to be seen in the area.

It's been snowing and raining here, so I've been inside a lot. My daughter ended up sick, so I picked her up from college and will take her back tomorrow.

  13. Quiet is nice maybe because of the police presence. Regardless, it is a nice change. Have a nice week.

  15. The patrol cars have to somewhere, and this week they chose your neighborhood.

  16. Curious. This reminds me of a teenager who drives by their crush's house periodically, just to linger.
