Apartment Life #208

This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 21 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 21 years here in a weekly blog post.

This week was quiet but we have a new next door neighbor who just moved in directly next door to us. They seem nice and they're quiet but they have a large dog that barks and howls the entire time they are gone during the day. I am hoping that the dog gets used to his new place and will stop howling all day soon. I feel so bad for the dog. I almost want to be like, Hey, I'll come pet your dog for you while you're gone if you want. lol Poor pup.

There have been a lot of police patrolling my neighborhood lately. Seems like every time I go outside to walk the dog there's a police car driving slowly down my street. Not that I'm complaining at all. I think we need more patrolling around here to keep the nonsense to a minimum. I haven't been seeing as may drug deals on the streets or as many cars being broken into or even as many fights going on. Quiet is nice.

Life Update:

Ken did finally get his lung biopsy but they punctured his lung so he had to stay in the hospital a few hours longer than expected to make sure his lung didn't collapse. So now we have to wait until next month when he sees his doctor for the test results and hopefully start treatment.

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
