Crab Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes

You will need:

1/2 pint cherry tomatoes
1 stalk green onion, diced
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1 can crab meat

Cut the core out of the cherry tomatoes, scoop out the insides and set aside.

Drain crab meat and flake to break up. Add all the ingredients and mix. Add the mixture to a ziplock baggie or pastry bag and cut off one corner tip. Gently squeeze mixture into cherry tomatoes and place them in a shallow dish. Cover with foil and refrigerate until ready to serve.

You can double this recipe if you are making this for more than 2 people but I made it as an add on to our dinner and I used 1/2 a pint of cherry tomatoes each time.

  1. You must have the patience of a saint! I would probably mangle the tomatoes.

  4. I don't like mayonnaise or crab, so I'm out. And, if that wasn't reason enough, I can't cook worth a damn. That being said, your post still made my stomach growl. It's breaky time!

  8. Yum - a mouthful of summer. Crab isn't as common down this end of the world, but a can of salmon would work too.

  12. ELF- It only took about 15 minutes to make the ones shown. I took a butter knife to scoop out the insides and it made it really easy.

Sophia- Thank you. They really weren't hard to make.
