My Review
My husband snores...loudly! We have a window air conditioner in the bedroom and it makes a lot of noise when a person is trying to get to sleep plus I have really rude neighbors who will play the music in their cars really loud right outside my bedroom window when they are coming or going. So for a few years now, I've been wearing foam ear plugs.
These ear plugs are not foam, they are a mold-able material that you flatten in and against the ear canal. I'm willing to try anything that will work so the day I received these I used them that night. It took a few minutes to get the hang of fitting this material against the outside and some on the inside of my ear canal when I'm used to fitting a foam ear plug inside my ear. But it was actually easier than I thought it would be and after I had both in, I couldn't hear a thing. Sometimes with foam ear plugs there's still a small amount of sound that I can hear but not with these. I like these more than foam ear plugs because some foam ear plugs hurt my ears and give me a headache, my ears also at times get itchy wearing foam ear plugs but I didn't have either of those issues with this product.
As you can see, these are completely mold-able. You can mold them into whatever shape you want to start with.
I started off with a small flat disc and then pinched the middle to form the small piece that would fit inside my ear canal and then firmly pressed the whole thing against my ear. The ingredients for these ear plugs are... Filtered Beeswax, Pure Lanolin, Sterile Cotton, Corn Starch, Grapefruit seed extract.
I can't say how long a pair of these will last because I've only had them for a couple of days but I've read other reviews that say they lasted a long time.
If you'd like to buy a pair of these ear plugs for yourself, you can do so here.
Disclaimer: I was sent a free pair of these ear plugs in exchange for my honest review.

kind of a weird concept but guess it works!
ReplyDeleteYeah I thought so too but they work and I really like that.
DeleteWere you nervous about it getting stuck? That's what would freak me out!
ReplyDeleteI was a little nervous but it worked really good and didn't get stuck.
DeleteI think I have foam earplugs and that's the only kind I used. My ears find a lot of noises too loud and I really should look around for some good plugs once. I also can't swim underwater thanks to my ears. So might have to give something like this a try. It does look weird how they are completely moldable and you can fold them in a flat disc. I can imagine they would be a bit difficult to get in your ear the first time, but not hearing anything would be bliss.
ReplyDeleteIt really wasn't too hard to figure out how to get them in my ear.
DeleteMy Bollywood Princess Angie has tried everything (on account of my alleged snoring), to no avail. Nothing works.
ReplyDeleteIf she tried ear plugs and they didn't work..she put them in wrong.
DeleteI'm a light sleeper so this sounds like a handy thing to have around for when it gets too loud... or when I decide to sleep in/early.
ReplyDeleteI love using ear plugs when there are so many noises.
DeleteLooks like ticcy tac stuff, be afraid it get stuck in my ear haha
ReplyDeleteIt works really well and didn't get stuck.
DeleteI never like using them. Dulls the noise, but I can't stand not being able to hear a thing
ReplyDeleteI love not being able to hear anything.
DeleteMy husband has to wear earplugs at his job and he's always looking for ones that do a better job of block sound so we'll have to check these out.
ReplyDeleteHope they work well for him.
