Freebie Friday!

Welcome to another edition of Freebie Friday, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.

A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.

You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.

This week I received:

A full size pack of Seeds of Change Quinoa & Brown Rice.
A sample of Pawtree Paw Pairings Superfood Seasoning for dogs and cats- chicken live medley flavor.

The quinoa and brown rice was already cooked, all you had to do was heat it up and serve. I have to say that it was good. I like quinoa and brown rice but not garlic and this had some garlic in it but it wasn't over powering. It wasn't bad at all.

The Paw Pairings was a food seasoning that you sprinkle on top of your dog or cat food. I put it on Falcor's food and he ate it. He liked it just fine.

Did you receive any freebies this week?

  1. The rice and quinoa sounds good. I'll have to keep it in mind if I need some quick ready made.

What an interesting pet food option. I'll have to tell my mom about pet food seasoning to try with her dog.

No freebies this week for me.

  10. I love quinoa. I will look for that brand when I go to the store this weekend. I received a free baby box from Amazon today. It had a bottle, swaddle blanket, wipes, samples of Dreft detergent, a Pampers diaper, and a cute little carrying case. I'm very pleased.

    1. It was really good. Oh that's awesome! I got one a few years ago and gave it to my daughter for her friend who just had a baby. I thought it was pretty nice too.

  14. I've never tried quinoa. I really need to try it. People rave about it and it's high in protein... I do like the micro-pouches when I'm in a hurry. I usually just use the rice ones.

  15. Quinoa is my new favourite food for versatility! I like it as a burgee ingredient or cooked up then cooled in a salad with chopped veggies and lots of teryaki sauce!

  18. I didn't know that flavoring for dog food was even a thing. I don't think my dogs are really too picky....they want to eat everything.

  19. I've never thought about adding spices to dog food. I guess I always figured it was already flavored, but might be good for those picky dogs.

I love brown rice and get those microwave packets for it all the time. I'm not as big of a fan of quinoa, but I also haven't tried a lot of it.
