Apartment Life #222

This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 21 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 21 years here in a weekly blog post.

Last Sunday night my daughter was standing outside enjoying the cooler weather as the sun went down and all of the sudden some guy in the apartments across the street in this picture started screaming, "Help, help" and then the police pulled up right in front of where my daughter was standing, got out and ran upstairs. So she started snapping pictures for me to share here.

After the police arrived, more police came, ran upstairs and arrested someone and then the ambulance pulled up.

So she stood there for a while and took pictures. She said that one person was arrested and one person was taken away in the ambulance.

The police were up in that apartment for a couple of hours though.

We're not sure what happened but there sure was a lot of activity on my street that night for a while.

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  2. Vivid pictures in red and blue!
"a couple of hours" - the police had a lot of work there.
Hopefully, the person in the ambulance has not been critically hurt.

    1. Not usually. The media doesn't do a lot of reporting things like this because it happens so often all over Las Vegas.

  9. The law enforcement in your town may have your apartment on their list to visit. We managed apartments like that for a few months. Our police stopped by regularly.

Okay, don't write a book. Instead collect your blog posts, bundle them together into a collection of short stories.

    1. No, the drug dealer unit I speak of is in my courtyard just 4 doors away from me. This happened across the street from me.

  17. Did you ever find out what happened? There's a lot that doesn't make the news, but I know sometimes I can find local stuff like this on the neighborhood Facebook groups. Or maybe that's just my weird neighbors who like to rat each other out. LOL I hope whoever was taken away by ambulance is okay.

I hope you and your family are well. Take care!

    1. I'm a part of the Next Door so I do look on there and search the news but things like this happen so often here in Vegas that I hardly ever see any news abut it.
