Falor and His New Toy Bear

So I got a Snuggle Bear for Falcor. He loves stuffed animals and when I say loves, I mean he loves to tear them apart and destroy them. I thought you all would find this as funny as I did. This look pretty much says it all. "I will destroy you."

Test bite. Gimme the bear.

I smell that sweet, sweet stuffing and want to rip it all out.

You're mine now, buddy.

He threw it around, shook it and then started biting and tearing at the face.

Within 20 minutes, the nose was gone, and so was one of the eyes. Then he started chewing the mouth off.

It only took 30 minutes to start seeing stuffing. Don't worry, he spits out everything he chews or pulls off of the toys. Always has.

It's stuffing time!

Within 45 minutes from the time he got the bear, this is what happened. LOL

Ok Mom, you may clean up my mess. I'm done for now.

He went back at it about an hour later and got most of the stuffing out. Now he has another faceless, stuffingless bear to play with. He just loves tearing toys up.

  2. You must work through dog toys at quite a rate. Maybe you can get one of those free-sample deals on them.

    1. I usually get the Kong toys that he can chew but not destroy too easily. Every once in a while I'll get him a stuffed animal he can chew through.

  3. Hi, Mary!

This is my first time seeing your dog Falcor. I love dogs and miss my Toto, a black female Cocker Spaniel. She died in 2013. (In memory of Toto I created the character Toto Moto, Chief Petting Officer and blog mascot at Shady's Place. Toto is pictured in my right sidebar.)

Toto loved her plush stuffed toys as much as your Falcor and attacked them with the same vigor, chewing off ears, lips, legs and whatever else she could get her jaws on as she feverishly worked her way to the fluffy center. Most toys that came with a squeaker inside were dead silent an hour after meeting Toto. :) Thanks for sharing this funny series of pictures showing your cute rascal Falcor in action!

Too funny. And they are pretty much the same color, aren't they?

  5. My floor is almost always covered with stuffing. They love to grab a toy and play tug with it so that it rips open or they enjoy ripping it open to find the squeaker which we promptly take away. Fun times!

  6. You may have to limit your purchases of stuffed animals to buys at the resale shops.

    1. He just loves to chew. When we first got him he destroyed 2 pillows, 2 pairs of shoes, several dog toys, a purse and a blanket. Thankfully now he knows just to chew on his toys.
