Favorite Song of the Week

If you already listen to a band called Disturbed, then you probably recognize David Draiman who is the lead singer for that band. But for a while he sang for this band, Device as well and this is one of my favorite songs from them.

  3. Hi, Mary!

Yes! Many people shy away from aggressive aka "transgressive" styles of music but, as you know by now, I love bands that assault our senses with bold, angry songs. This one's new to my eyes and ears and I thank you for posting it!

Dear friend, I noticed that you missed my last post. Another friend told me she had been relying on the email notification service to inform her whenever I published, and that she did not receive a notification about my last post. I needed to tell her that the email notification function has been discontinued, meaning that from now on she will need to bookmark my site and check back every 5 or 6 days when I publish. If this is what happened with you, then I hope you will choose to continue following me and remember to bookmark my blog and check it every few days. We have a heck of a lot in common, Mary, and I'd hate to lose you as a friend.

Have a happy Saturday and I'll see you tamale for your update on Apartment Life!

    1. That is so strange because I know that I commented on that post. I will go look again. Maybe it got stuck in the spam folder.

  10. That motorcycle guy sounds like a real attention seeker. I can think of a few of those, including this guy who has like four old fashion cars parked on the street of my neighborhood where others would like to park.

  13. The motorcycle guy might have been afraid someone would damage his bike. I'm sorry you are still coughing so much. Hopefully this week is better.

  15. Hope you get over your cough. I haven't been coughing as much knock on wood but there are folks at my work place who smoke weed on sight and that has been cumbersome to my nostrils.@theglobaldig.blogspot.com
