Freebie Friday!

Welcome to another weekly Freebie Friday post, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.

A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.

You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.

This week I received:

Costa Brazil body oil.
Clinique wrinkle cream.

I'm not a fan of the body oil because it stayed really oily after rubbing it in. I've used dry oil and that disappears into your skin when using it. I like that more.

The wrinkle cream seems like a good moisturizer but I didn't really see any decrease in the fine lines of my forehead.

Did you receive any freebies this week?

  1. It is awful feeling oily isn't it? We did get a freebie - free tickets to a musical. The musical was ok but on the way home couldn't avoid a pothole - which caused nearly $500 damage to the car. An expensive freebie.

  2. None for me, but I agree on the body oil. Stains clothes!

  3. Sometimes you win, sometimes not. I had creams that I paid for, and yet I gave them away as they were not good for my skin.

  4. I don't like oils that are oily either. I don't them much but sometimes with a moisturizer or whatever (I have dry skin) it bugs me if they don't absorb fast or they have that oily residue.

    1. It does me too. I like them to absorb into the skin.

  5. I have only used oil in my feet because it's all good under the socks.

  9. No freebies here.
Clinique's products are usually good, they have been around quite a few years I think.

    All the best Jan

  10. As someone who has oily skin, I wouldn't want to use something that makes that worse. No way.

  11. I don't like oily body oil either. 😛

  12. I love Clinique. Though I'm sure you need more than a sample to use daily to see results.
