My Review

The Shampoo is nice, thick and smells good. It has a light scent which isn't floral or heavy just a light nice scent. I usually like a more floral stronger scent to my hair care products but this is a really nice shampoo. My hair is long enough for me to sit on, I've been growing it my entire life so I'm a bit picky about what I use on my hair. After reading the ingredients, I figured there wasn't anything that I hadn't used before so I used it and it's really nice, it left my hair feeling clean and soft and not weighed down at all. It lathers well and was easy to work through my hair and I didn't have to use a lot to get the job done. While this can be used to clean the skin as well, I like to use a body wash with a lot of scent but if you like just a little scent this will work for you because it does work well for that without leaving my skin sticky.

The conditioner has the same light scent as the shampoo and is thick so it was easy to distribute through my hair. After rinsing I didn't feel any weird residue left over in my hair and it all rinsed out easily. My hair is very straight, not a curl in sight. So I like the conditioner that I use to compliment my natural hair and not make it frizzy or look greasy and this doesn't, my hair was straight and looked nice and shiny.

I did find the price they were charging for the small 2 ounce sample size to be a bit pricey though.

I give both a 4 out of 5 stars

Disclosure: I was given both of these products for free in exchange for an honest review.

  1. I don't need a lot of shampoo on my waning head of hair, so I doubt I would try these. Besides, with two women in the house, I generally just use shampoo hand-me-downs. As for conditioners, I used to use them on my beard when it was really long but now I keep it short, I don't.

    1. Understandable. Ken uses whatever I tend to buy. Sometimes though he tells me he doesn't want to smell like raspberries or melon. lol

  3. I've noticed products lately that do double duty as shampoo and body wash. It makes me wonder if it's all just the same ingredients!

  5. I'm really picky about hair care products. Or, I should say my hair is really picky about them. I have fairly curly hair and it doesn't like a lot of products that I've tried. My hair isn't as long as yours, but I came pretty close until the ends started to look bad. I had seven inches cut off of it in May. It looks much better now, but I don't like that it is so short. I'm on a different shampoo and conditioner now. I'm hoping that it will grow back out quickly and that I won't have to cut off that much again for a long while. I'm glad you enjoyed this one.

  8. I had no idea your hair was so long, that is awesome and even more so that you found something that you liked in a sample even if it is a bit pricey. ;)

  9. Sounds fancy! I'm hesitant in trying new shapoon because my scalp is sensitive and I get bad flakes! I'll try the conditioner though...

  10. Wow...you have long hair! I wish I could grow my hair that long but it's so thin it gets too stringy and frizzy if I grow it too long! Sounds like a promising product!

    1. My hair has always been long. Growing up in the 70's, most girls had long hair. I just never did more than trim it.

  11. My hair can get so frizzy, especially in winter. I used to have the best shampoo for it but they stopped making it :/

  12. I've had a love/hate relationship with my shampoo and conditioner. But ever since I cut most of my hair off, it really hasn't bothered me too much.

    1. I'm sure having shorter hair would make it easier to find a shampoo.
