Happy Birthday, Mom
Peggy Kirkland
Born Sept 2nd, 1947
Died June 24th, 2011
My mom would have been 64 years old today. I grew up in Redondo Beach, California and when I was 17 my Mom brought my brother and I to West Virginia for a year back in 1987 and we stayed there for a year and then she came out here to Las Vegas followed by my brother Billy and then a few months later I followed. We have been here ever since and the one thing my mom really missed about California was the ocean.
So last year when my younger brother, Billy was getting married to his wife Lynnece, they brought my mom out to California and took her to the Redondo Beach Pier where we all used to go as kids with her and the family. She was so happy to see the ocean again. There's something about the ocean that just made her smile. So I am so glad she was able to visit and see the ocean before she died.

i am glad we got to bring her to the beach she was so happy that day and she thought that she would never get to see to beach again but she was able to see the beach and we also took her to the restaurant she had been talking about for years Tony's I just want to say I would have not been able to do any of this for my mom if it was not for my wonderful wife Lynnece
