Apartment Life #412
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 27 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 27 years here in a weekly blog post.
---
Last Sunday I witnessed a lady down the street getting really mad at 2 of the homeless guys. She threatened to call the police on both of them if they ever looked at or touched her kids again. She said something about how they didn't have enough time to touch her kids because she saw them out the window and came out and stopped them. That's not good at all.
----
My daughter's best friend took this picture for me when she saw that 2 of the dumpsters in our alley were on fire at 1AM. The Fire Department came out and put the fires out. We all think it was deliberately set by the homeless again.
--One morning this week I was walking through the alley and saw a tow truck getting ready to tow away a black SUV that has been parked there for a while.
It hasn't moved in quite some time.
The police truck was also here for this right in front of the SUV.
The tow truck driver was looking through the SUV and getting ready to hook it up while the police were here.
Then I got a picture of the tow truck backing out with the SUV on the back of it and the police truck still here. I have no idea why the police were here for this or who owned the SUV.

And because maintenance didn't prepare some of the buildings for paint, after they painted the first time, the paint started chipping off the buildings in the rain and high winds we had a couple of weeks ago. So they had to scrape, patch and re-paint a couple of buildings. So of course they put plastic over a bunch of cars.
More cars covered in plastic. At least this time I didn't see anyone come out screaming about the plastic on their car. 🤣🤣🤣
The high this week was 98F/36C *Ya'll, it's too damn hot for March!*
The low this week was 62F/16C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
