Review: Graze Subscription Box

So I saw a commercial on tv that the first sample box from Graze was just $1.99, so I thought sure I'll try it.

I was sent

Peachy Orchard Bites
Zesty Chili Lime Cashews
Italian Herb Focaccia
Cocoa Cookie Dippers with a cherry Compote

Now as you can see, these are tiny packages and the going price if I renewed my subscription would have been $6.99 for the 4 snack box. Hardly worth the $1.99 that I paid in the introductory price but definitely not worth almost $7.

As you can see the Cocoa Cookies with Cherry Compote had 2 small cookies in it and the packages weren't even filled all the way. I cancelled my subscription of this box right after getting this first one, just not the right box for me.

Have you ever tried a subscription box that turned out not to be a good one?

  1. I don't think we have subscription boxes like this here in NZ.

  4. What a rip off! Similar treats go for 10/$10 at Kroger sometimes

  6. Oh man I remember you posting to FB about them. That sucks. I do Ipsy which is make up and so far I've liked it. Not everything that comes but it's 10 a month and usually about half the stuff I use plus it comes with a cute little bag each time. I'm too picky about food to do a foodish one I think.

  7. I still say you got a crummy box! I actually like my Graze subscription. It doesn't come monthly, it comes when I schedule it (you can push off the dates if you don't want them monthly). You can trash items on the list that you don't want to receive. Out of the four items you got, I only kind of like the focaccia. The others I trashed. I feel like this box is good for someone who is just looking to experiment with small amounts of healthy snacks. I like to toss these in my bag or in my cooler if we're going to the playground. They are VERY small, I agree, and don't do much as far as filling hunger. My husband thinks it's pointless.

  8. Witht hose small packages it's hardly worth the price. Although I do like how you get four different things. I haven't tried any subscription boxes yet as most are too pricey in general or they don't ship here or charge extra as I don't live in the US, maybe if I can try one discounted here I will try the, but else I can't afford them at the moment.

  9. Those are just a little too little to pay a subscription for. They do sound delicious though. I haven't done any subscription boxes yet.

  11. That's a cheesy box, but without the cheese even!

  12. I know several people at work have had Graze boxes and I've been tempted myself. They've had them set up so that you can tell them what you like and don't like so they'll send you personalised boxes that match your tastes.

They're just the right size for snacky things for your desk at work, but personally I'd rather just buy myself a bag of nuts or fruit and keep that on my desk instead.

  13. A guy at work has a subscription to this and loves it. I'm on a no sugar diet right now. I don't know if they could handle that, plus I'm a very picky eater, so I don't like the idea of people sending me random stuff. I would rather pick out my own stuff.
