Recipe: Cole Slaw

You'll Need:

 3 cups shredded cabbage.
1 shredded carrot
2-3 TBSP mayonnaise
1tsp. sugar
1 tsp. mustard
Salt and pepper

Mix everything together, cover and let sit in the fridge overnight before serving.

Ken and I both liked this recipe so I'll be making this one again. I'll probably share one of the dishes I made and used this as the side in the next couple of weeks or so.

Do you like cole slaw?

  7. I really need a mayo free version. ::shudder:: But I do love it if I can not think about that ingredient. lol I've seen some use avocado instead of the mayo. I might have to do that some time :)

    1. Avocado? Oh now that sounds interesting. What if you made your own mayo? Would it still gross you out?

  8. This sounds pretty good! I am not a big fan of mustard, but I wonder if I might like it mixed with other ingredients like this.

    1. You can actually leave the mustard out. I like mustard so I add a little bit to the potato salad, macaroni salad and this. But it's fine without it to.

  9. I do enjoy coleslaw, but normally need to add some type of vinegar or lemon for a tart flavor. Hugs...
