Favorite Picture of the Week
Nothing but clouds in the past couple of weeks. We had a few days where it got a little cloudy and then there was this day. The amount of huge, white, puffy clouds was so cool. They sure make for a nice background.
The clouds started to get a little darker as the day went on, but we didn't get any rain out of them.
This was 2PM. I thought for sure we were going to get some rain out of this and we did on Thursday.
I took Falcor for a walk just in case it was going to start raining. It rained right after we got home.
The wind we got came in fast and it cooled down so fast while we were out there.
We did get some rain over the weekend too. Not a lot, but some.
And here is a video I took with my digital camera of Falcor. I am now able to take video and download them to my laptop. It took about 15 minutes for it to download to Blogger for some reason but at least I can do it now. With my old laptop, I couldn't download any videos from my camera. I have no idea why.

Those are some pretty pictures of those clouds with the trees in front of them. Glad you got that walk in before it started to rain on that day with those dark clouds.
ReplyDeleteFalcor does not like getting his little paws wet so we had to walk before it rained.
DeleteSome fluffy clouds and then some rain - and you got in before it did!
ReplyDeleteIt is getting nice around here temp wise.
DeleteFalcor look to be having a great time outside. Those Sky photos are really something the way the clouds blew in and then blew out.
ReplyDeleteFalcor always has a good time outside.
DeleteShots of the palm trees and the moody sky are great
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGlad you got some rain.
ReplyDeleteI am too.
DeleteThey’re good skies. I saw an orange glow from my chair this morning, and got up for a quick shot.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to find a good time to take a picture.
DeleteFalcor looks like he's on a mission to find the perfect spot.
ReplyDeleteHe smells every blade of grass when we're out. 🤣
DeleteThe ground is still very dry, with Falcor kicking up dust.
ReplyDeleteYeah we got in a walk before it rained.
DeleteI took a similar picture last week. Clouds behind palm trees. I was waiting for food I ordered from a taco truck, and the clouds were just calling to me. I like yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
Deletethe palm trees and the clouds are my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the pictures.
DeleteLovely photos
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWe have also had clouds for two months now, murky almost all the time in last few weeks, and yet almost no rain, everything is dead even though we are deep in the Autumn now.
ReplyDeleteThis time of year we get a lot of clouds.
DeleteThose would be glorious skies here too!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGlad you got your walk in before the rain!
ReplyDeleteWe're still in a drought.
I echo FG's comment, glorious skies!
DeleteIt didn't rain much and we are always in a drought it seems. We only get 3 or 4 inches of rain per year.
DeleteBeautiful skies and clouds. Shame that Falcor got wet paws. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteLovely photographs and I enjoyed the video.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you.
DeleteThe palm trees look cool with the clouds. Go Falcor!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGorgeous skies and clouds, Mary!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteFalcor is keeping an eye out as he shuffles the dirt, lol! The clouds look pretty!
ReplyDeleteHe's always looking around for other dogs.
DeleteLovely video of Falcor, you did well.
ReplyDeleteThose clouds are lovely, like large balls of cotton wool as well as endless cotton wool.
The dark ones look great too.
Thank you.
DeleteGorgeous photos Mary. Loving the skies :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteLove the super blue skies with pillow white clouds. Yay for your video working now.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy with my new laptop. It makes things so much easier.
DeleteDramatic clouds LOL - I especially like N°2. You get so many clouds and so little rain...I wonder why. Is your area very windy?
ReplyDeleteFalcor seems to be very punctilious when it comes to the right spot where to relieve himself LOL.
It's been windy here for the past week. Falcor takes his sweet time finding the right spot.
