Best Moments Of 2025

In January I bought a new blouse, but the really exciting thing for me was the fact that instead of buying a 5X size like I had been wearing for about 20 years, I was able to buy a 3X and it fit! I have posted a couple of times this year that I've lost 80 Lbs this year. I've got more to go until I'm happy but this was a really big deal for me.

In February we had this beautiful fiery sunset.

In March my brother came for a visit. This is me and my brother. I'm 2 years older than him.

In April I used my new food processor and made tangerine sorbet for the first time. This came out so good and was great during the Summer months.

In May my daughter got me these beautiful flowers as part of my Mother's Day present.

In June My daughter's friend fly here for her birthday. While they were out celebrating my daughter and her friend brought me fancy donuts from Saint Honore. They were so good!

In June my daughter and I went out for Ice Cream.

In July My daughter, grandson, grandson's father, my daughter's best friend and her girlfriend who both  moved into my courtyard this year set fireworks off for the 4th of July. But with my camera it just looked like an explosion of light. lol I stayed inside with Falcor so he wouldn't be scared and watched from my bedroom window. Falcor wasn't too scared he just barked every time there was a boom anywhere in the neighborhood.

In August my daughter and I put together 3 new shelving units and painted the kitchen a dark green. And she bought me a new desk. We have so much more shelving space now.

In September my daughter started decorating for Halloween.

In October we did a bunch of Halloween baking. This was pudding cups with pumpkin marshmallows and crushed Oreos that my grandson is holding.

In November we had this fiery sunset. It's one of the best photos I've ever taken.

In December we decorated for Christmas.

  1. What a fun to look back on your year. And I like how you're wearing that blouse from the first picture in the picture where your brother came to visit. That tangerine sorbet looks good. And I always like seeing those pretty sunrise and sunset pictures, so pretty! I like your decorations for Halloween and Christmas.

  8. You did so well with your diet, and you were rocking that blouse! I'm so glad that you managed to find at least one good thing per month in the middle of your usual Apartment Hell chaos - I can't say the same. I hope your 2026 is even better!

BTW, Falcor is built like an elf more than a Santa LOL - but he looks so cute.

  21. That is such a lovely blouse and such a stunning weight loss! I think I lost about 4 or 5 kilos in last 30 days because I had terrible stomach problems and food made me puke LOL so that was a good thing within the very bad one. I still eat like a sparrow while recuperating.
