Favorite Picture of the Week

This week while out with Falcor I saw this rider, riding his horse down my street. First time in 27 years I've seen a horse on my street. lol At least it was something fun to see.

I have no idea what this plant is but it's tall. You can see the roof of the house behind the wall on the left and this is several feet taller than that roof. It's along the path that I walk Falcor. Never paid it much attention but thought it looked interesting. They are tall enough to touch the telephone lines. It's hard to tell just how tall these are but they're big.

My grandson, Logan turned 13 on January 31st.

The birds were sitting on this gate just staring at me. lol

  1. Your grandson is growing up fast!
Once in a very great while we will see people out riding their horses. Sadly it's very dangerous as so many drivers are busy texting rather than watching the road.

  3. What a delightful mix of photos. I can't imagine what that huge shrub is especially in your part of the country. I like seeing your grandson smiling and that you had the place all decorated just for him.

  10. There are a couple areas around here that have horses, but I would not expect to see one riding down my street. Nice catch. Happy birthday to your grandson. His birthday is my half-birthday ;)

  11. That's got to be a well-trained horse and rider to risk a ride on city streets. Happy birthday to your grandson! 13 is a big one, entering the teens. My granddaughter turned 13 a few months ago.

  25. Happy belated birthday to your grandson Logan. It will be interesting to see how he changes as he enters the teen years. I think the horse and rider are cool! As for the pigeons, they are part of urban life. I never knew until recently that they aren't native to the United States but no one knows how they got here. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
