A to Z Blogging Challenge: G is For Great Smelling Lip Balm

Yes, it seems I've discovered I have a slight obsession with great smelling lip balm. It started out simple enough with a Chapstick cherry flavored but soon I was buying Chocolate Hazelnut Cappuccino, White Chocolate Raspberry Confection, Chocolate Mint, Milk Chocolate Orange Truffle and Bubble Gum flavored lip balms.

That one in the back is one I got in a swag pack from Leah Braemel and it smells a little like bubble gum. Now when I see an interesting flavor, I want to get it.

And my newest acquisition is from one of my favorite blogs, Herding Cats & Burning Soup.  This smells like vanilla to me.

Any new obsessions for you lately?

  1. Who knew there were so many different types? I like the Body Shop lip balms and recently go a blueberry one. That's nice to use.

  3. Did you know there's such a thing as lip balm addiction? I read about it recently...you wear lip balm so much that your lips actually become dependent on it.

  4. There are so many great smells to savour, aren't there? I love the smell of turpentine. Did you know that drinking a small quantity of it makes your pee smell good?

  5. I'm a chapstick junkie too. I have a whole drawer. Though I don't buy it anymore. Something about having 300 herding cats chapsticks (with the name spelled wrong) got me off spending money on other peoples chapstick. ::snort::

  6. I have an absolute addiction to chapstick! And the better smelling the better! One of my daughters has this same addiction; we recently bought her a variety pack of the ones that smell/taste like different types of soda. Her favorite was the root beer float :) I tend to like the minty or chocolatey ones the best.

  8. Very creative. Lip balm has been essential for us this year with the lousy winter and being inside so much. Might as well go with good smelling!
