Do You Have a Hobby?

Years ago I started going into Michael's and Joanne's craft stores and started picking crafts to do that seemed interesting. I tried wreath making, making jewelry, making dream catchers, and even tried making small sculptures out of clay *but we don't speak of that lol* This is a case full of some of my jewelry making supplies.

I also made some of the beading crafts that come with everything you need to make them and the instructions to make them. I made a couple of watches that I really liked.

I made Dream Catchers for a while and that was a lot of fun.

I also made Wreaths for a while and I would probably keep making them but when I would go to buy supplies it was getting expensive. Those fake flowers are costly. lol

The craft that I seem to keep coming back to is the jewelry making. I kept it simple and made a couple pairs of earrings while I was laid up with a broken toe and badly bruised leg.

Do you have any hobbies?

  10. I would love to see some of those small sculptures Mary. I have tons of hobbies and all include crafting, I’m better at some crafts than others, but that doesn’t stop me trying. Ohhh I love that wreath, it’s my favorite color.

    1. I love trying crafts but I don't stick with many of them. I have another post planned on the 23rd of this month and I'll make sure to add a picture of the mouse I made from sculpy clay. I think that's the only clay sculpture I have left, most of the others went in the trash. lol

Thanks, I loved that wreath when it was done too.

  11. I've had notable sprees like I got into cross stitching, beading, and now blogging. I don't know what my next one will be, I do want to learn knitting and quilting so maybe that's next?

  17. Gardening is a hobby, but I keep it pretty simple. I like crocheting and knitting and embroidery. I keep up with practicing my piano and playing stuff. I've done wreaths and flower arrangements, but ran into the expense of it, too. I haven't tried jewelry yet, but that was a big one with my gran when she was alive.
Love your dreamcatchers and fun to see your other hobbies, too.

    1. I do a little scrapbooking too and that's a lot of fun. Making the baby book was so much fun. I also made my daughter a School Days book. Where there were little pockets from each grade to put things like grades, letters from the teacher and awards. She loved getting it when she was grown.

  20. I have way too many hobbies. My interest tends to last about as long as it takes me to buy all the supplies, then they start gathering dust. Sigh.

Stopping by from Bambi Unbridled for #getsocial2017.
