Favorite Photo of the Week
My daughter brought some little friends home. lol These are Cicada skins from after the nymph cicada has shed its skin to turn into an adult Cicada.
She found them on one of the trees. You can see here that there were quite a few of them on the tree.
They were all over the trunk of the tree.
This is how my daughter came back from walking the dog. She was wearing the skins like jewelry on her shirt. lol

I remember cicada cases - I haven't seen them in years.

DeleteOur 17 year cicadas was in 2016. Thank god not this year!

I have an Eyeclops Bionicam which shows microscopic things on a TV screen. I have dead spiders and flies and other interesting found objects. (I don't kill stuff)

We don't have a lot of weird bugs but this is weird.
DeleteThose things always creeped me out when I was a kid. I haven't seen any skins since they've reemerged once again.
