Favorite Song of the Week

 

I love Korn. They have so many good songs but this one is the one I find myself listening to the most. Enjoy.

    Hi, Mary!

    I like this Korn video because it illustrates the rage that builds up inside victims of bullying. Even though the revenge scene at the end shows the bullied kid getting even with mean classmates at the prom by spraying them with vomit instead of gunfire, we all get the point. The vid features Aaron Paul, later to become famous as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, and Penthouse model Aimee Sweet as his fantasy escort.

    I left a comment for you very early this morning. I proof read it and everything, but when I checked back later to read other comments, mine was gone. Did your spam folder grab it? Whatever the case, I'll compose another comment right now so that you know how much I appreciated the post.

    I like this 2002 song and video by Korn because it illustrates and dramatizes the rage that boils inside victims of bullying. The tormented teen in the video was played by Aaron Paul who went on to fame a few years later as Jesse Pinkman in the hit TV series Breaking Bad. The fantasy escort he hires was played by Penthouse Pet Aimee Sweet. The revenge scene at the end shows the bullied high school kid arriving at the prom with his escort and spraying his mean classmates with vomit. I'm sure we all get the message that he could just as easily have sprayed them with bullets.
