Review: Walmart beauty Box- June

The Walmart Beauty box is a subscription box that comes out 4 times a year. You sign up for it and it comes automatically every 3 months. They did increase the price of the box a little bit. So instead of $5 it's just a couple of dollars more. These boxes are free and you just pay for tax for shipping, mine came to $7.48.

What was in the box?

Liquid IV: Hydration Multiplier
Invisibobble: Original Traceless Hair Ring
Bliss: Block Star Invisible Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
Sagely Naturals: Pain Relief Cream
Suave: Up The Volume Sulfate-free Shampoo and Conditioner Samples
Cetaphil: Gentle Skin Cleanser

I really liked the shampoo, conditioner, cleanser and daily moisturizer. All great products.

I don't like the taste of the Liquid IV hydration mix. It's not good tasting. So many boxes have been adding this and it's just not good.

The pain relief cream did nothing for the pain I have in my knee's and hips. Big surprise there. I haven't found a pain cream yet that does.

I tossed those hair ties right in the garbage. I have tried them in the past and they might work for shorter hair but they just get stuck in my long hair and pull my hair out. I don't know anyone that uses them because they are awful.

So it was just an ok box for me this time. Too many one time samples and not enough actual full size or bigger products. But for the price I'll keep getting it.

  1. I am sorry that it wasn't a winner - but hooray for some good quality products in the mix.

    1. For the price it wasn't bad. Some months are great and others not so much.

  3. Those hair ties are not favs of mine, either. Glad the other hair products were good. Too bad it was all small amounts.

  6. I buy Cetaphil for my face cleanser so score there. Yeah, who want hair pulls that yank your hair out? No thanks!

  7. I didn't enjoy the Liquid IV either when I tried it.

  8. Hair ties wouldn't do me any good either. With a wife that seldom finishes a bottle of shampoo before trying another one, I just use what she hasn't.

  9. Pain creme that works would be a great thing. Too bad this was a dud too. Though, you had good luck with many of the products.

  12. I've heard that a lot about the liquid hydration stuff. It doesn't taste good but they keep trying to get people to buy it. Even people with my illness who need extra hydration from time to time won't touch that stuff.

  15. Haven't we gotten Bliss products in the DGB boxes before? I think I liked them. Too bad a lot of the items weren't that great. Did they used to send full size samples? 🤔
