Color me surprised when I heard this newish song by Queensryche and it was actually good! It's been a while since I heard a song from them that I liked but this is a good one. I hope you enjoy.

I love heavy drum beat, so I like it instantly when I heard the intro. And when they started to sing, I fell in love. This is really good. Thanks for sharing Mary!

It's such a good song.
DeleteNot precisely easy listening - but a really good beat.
ReplyDeleteI just love his voice, I always have.
DeleteHi, Mary!
ReplyDeleteI can trace my knowledge of Queensrÿche back to the mid 80s when I started working in MTV. The veejays that hosted our evening and late night Headbanger's Ball shows played the Seattle area prog metal band's videos heavily. Queensrÿche's latest studio album, Digital Noise Alliance, hit the street just before Halloween last year, and "Lost In Sorrow" is indeed a good song from the set. The bonus track for the album is a capable cover of "Rebel Yell" complete with Billy Idol screams and a worthy guitar solo that strives toward the wicked licks of Steve Stevens:

Thanks for the morning metal to start the weekend, dear friend Mary. Have a nice Saturday and I'll be back to see you tomorrow for an update on the neighborhood.
Oh I will definitely have to go listen to that then. Have a great weekend.
DeleteQueensrÿche used to be amazing. Like Shady said, back in the 80's and 90's. Operation Mindcrime is still one of the greatest concept albums ever written.
ReplyDeleteI agree. They are still so good too as this song proves.
DeleteWOW, that's a good one, never heard of them but I like!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you enojyed this one. I really like it too.
DeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that.
