Favorite Picture of the Week

I wanted to show you how fast the sky changed one day. It was so bright blue and the white, puffy clouds were just everywhere. But this one small dark cloud started over the mountains and quickly made its way near where I live.

The sky changed to these dark clouds within 20 minutes of the first picture. I didn't get any rain from this but the more it moved to the East the darker it got. It was dark clouds by me the rest of the day.

  1. Hi, Mary!

I like your pictures of the week, dear friend. It surprises me that those dark clouds didn't shed any moisture, but I am hoping the overcast held temperatures down, making the day more pleasant in that respect. We finally got a good downpour yesterday. The lawns and shrubs desperately needed it.

Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend Mary!

  2. Skyscapes change incredibly quickly don't they? Those grey clouds look as if they should have held rain. And should have released it too.

  8. I love watching the sky in the desert, especially when there is dry rain or rain moving in the distance and you can watch it.
