Favorite Picture of the Week

2 weeks ago I took this picture when a thunderstorm rolled through. We got quite a bit of rain from these dark clouds. I saw those dark clouds over the mountains and told Falcor we needed to go for a walk before those clouds got closer. He was happy to go.

  2. That's quite impressive - all that dark grey and no rain yet. I hope you and Falcor made it before it started.

    1. We got home just in time. It rained real good a few minutes after we got home.

    1. It's still 104 F here right now but it's supposed to cool down to the 80's by Sunday.

  6. Usually in the summer we have a rainstorm every afternoon. I've almost forgotten what one looks like. Whew. That's a big storm.

  13. It’s been raining every evening here, so no walks for me. Glad you’re getting outside though, Mary.

  14. I love the sense of serenity that an afternoon thunderstorm brings. It makes me really miss the rain. Summer in Texas doesn't seem to have that in the cards at the moment!

  15. Yes, it was good to get the walk done before they rolled in. Not safe being out in a thunder/lightening storm! It is neat looking though and I like them when I can watch safely inside! :)
