Apartment Life #383

This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 27 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 27 years here in a weekly blog post.

So I wanted to show you a fence. This is what the fence across the street that you can use as a reference for what it's supposed to look like in comparison to the next pictures.

I had my camera up and noticed that this guy who lives across the street was demolishing this fence across the street. At first he was waving around a knife and then he dug a hole to bury the knife but then dug another hole and then another hole and finally buried the knife. So I started watching him because that's not suspicious at all.!

He knocked over a bunch of the bricks and the blue fence and then dug another hole behind it in front of the bush that's sitting there.

And then this dude took a break from demolishing the fence, went in his apartment, came out with 2 cups, dug yet another hole and buried what he had in the cups.

Then he went over to this fence and tried to break this one too.

And then he went back in his apartment, came back with something else in his hand,  he dug another hole and buried what he had in his hand. I told my daughter that I took pictures in case the police showed up looking for a murder weapon or someone's body parts? Am I paranoid? Yes. But look where I live and this guy was acting all kinds of weird. It happened last Saturday but maybe he was just high or something because nothing ever came of it.

This is what the fence looked like after he was done with it.

He did a number on it for whatever reason.

He had a big rock and was just smashing it all to pieces.

I think the owner is going to be mad.

The next day I went to take pictures of the destruction and found a dime bag of weed right in the spot where he had been digging one of the holes. Yes, the bag has a dime in it for some weird reason. I wonder if all the holes have weed in them. lol Or if this is just a weird coincidence.

Was he just high?
Was he burying something illegal?
Was that knife a murder weapon?
Are there more drugs buried in the holes?
Did the fence insult him and had the demolishing coming to it?

Come back next week for answers to these questions and more, on another episode of...As The Apartment Burns!

The high this week was 108F/42C
The low this week was 80F/26C

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  1. Did you call the cops?

The owner of the fence might be interested in your pictures and description even if the cops aren't. He's got a lot more motivation to do something about this guy.

  2. I would say a very muscular nutcase high on drugs. What destruction, and for what purpose. I hope the walls to your apartment are stronger.

  3. I second the first comment - call the cops and the fence owner.

  5. Incomprehensible. It just looks like random destruction for some purpose only known to himself. A total nutcase.

  7. So weird. Funny, but weird. I agree with Infidel, the owner of the property might be interested in what happened.

  10. That’s quite a wild story. Between the knife, the digging, and the dime bag of weed, it looks like your apartment complex has more drama than most TV shows. Definitely worth keeping an eye on it’s hard to tell what’s going on, but your photos might save someone a lot of trouble.
