Apartment Life #383
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 27 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 27 years here in a weekly blog post.
So I wanted to show you a fence. This is what the fence across the street that you can use as a reference for what it's supposed to look like in comparison to the next pictures.
I had my camera up and noticed that this guy who lives across the street was demolishing this fence across the street. At first he was waving around a knife and then he dug a hole to bury the knife but then dug another hole and then another hole and finally buried the knife. So I started watching him because that's not suspicious at all.!
He knocked over a bunch of the bricks and the blue fence and then dug another hole behind it in front of the bush that's sitting there.
And then this dude took a break from demolishing the fence, went in his apartment, came out with 2 cups, dug yet another hole and buried what he had in the cups.
Then he went over to this fence and tried to break this one too.
And then he went back in his apartment, came back with something else in his hand, he dug another hole and buried what he had in his hand. I told my daughter that I took pictures in case the police showed up looking for a murder weapon or someone's body parts? Am I paranoid? Yes. But look where I live and this guy was acting all kinds of weird. It happened last Saturday but maybe he was just high or something because nothing ever came of it.
This is what the fence looked like after he was done with it.
He did a number on it for whatever reason.
He had a big rock and was just smashing it all to pieces.
I think the owner is going to be mad.
The next day I went to take pictures of the destruction and found a dime bag of weed right in the spot where he had been digging one of the holes. Yes, the bag has a dime in it for some weird reason. I wonder if all the holes have weed in them. lol Or if this is just a weird coincidence.
Was he just high?
Was he burying something illegal?
Was that knife a murder weapon?
Are there more drugs buried in the holes?
Did the fence insult him and had the demolishing coming to it?
Come back next week for answers to these questions and more, on another episode of...As The Apartment Burns!
The high this week was 108F/42C
The low this week was 80F/26C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

Did you call the cops?
ReplyDeleteThe owner of the fence might be interested in your pictures and description even if the cops aren't. He's got a lot more motivation to do something about this guy.
No I didn't, I doubt they would do anything. I have no idea who the manager is or how to get a hold of them.
DeleteI would say a very muscular nutcase high on drugs. What destruction, and for what purpose. I hope the walls to your apartment are stronger.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking on drugs too.
DeleteI second the first comment - call the cops and the fence owner.
ReplyDeleteI doubt the cops would do anything and I don't know how to get in touch with the owner. I'm not getting involved.
DeleteHe took offence at the fence.
ReplyDeleteYes he did.
DeleteIncomprehensible. It just looks like random destruction for some purpose only known to himself. A total nutcase.
ReplyDeleteSure seems that way.
DeleteLol at the dime in the bag!
ReplyDeleteI know. lol
DeleteSo weird. Funny, but weird. I agree with Infidel, the owner of the property might be interested in what happened.
ReplyDeleteThey don't have an onsite manager so I have no idea how to get in touch with them. But I;m not getting involved. There were several other people who live there outside and also saw what he was doing.
DeleteWhat strange behaviour and in full daylight, too. I hope you manage to discover more . . .
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will, who knows.
Deletelol. What did that fence ever do to him? You sure are surrounded by crazy people where you live.
ReplyDeleteI know. lol
DeleteThat’s quite a wild story. Between the knife, the digging, and the dime bag of weed, it looks like your apartment complex has more drama than most TV shows. Definitely worth keeping an eye on it’s hard to tell what’s going on, but your photos might save someone a lot of trouble.
ReplyDeleteI doubt anything will come of it. The owners and managers on my street only seem to care about the rent money.
DeleteVery strange.
ReplyDeleteIt was.
DeleteI'm not sure I want to come back!
ReplyDeleteLOL Hey, if I have to be here, so do all of you. lol
DeleteStrange
ReplyDeleteIt was.
DeleteWeirderoonies.
ReplyDeleteYes it was.
DeleteWell obviously, in his mind, the fence had it coming. I hope you catch the owner's reaction.
ReplyDeleteThere is no onsite owner or manager so I don't even know who it is.
DeleteYeah, my brain would have gone to the same place. What's he hiding? Although, he's not hiding it very well.
ReplyDeleteNo, he sure isn't.
DeleteOh gosh, that is suspicious!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too.
DeleteBoy, that is some weird dude, somethings up with all that digging.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too.
DeleteWell, this is the start of a fascinating story. A bag of weed with a dime in it? That's a lot of destruction, and it's not even his fence? Has he lived in the area a long time or a new resident? Weird story, I hope there's more next week. By the way, what did you do with the weed?????
ReplyDeleteHe's lived over there for a few years as far as I know. My daughter and he friend smoked the weed. Probably not the smartest but seems like it's just weed.
DeleteI don't understand why people need to destroy things and make them look like crap for no reason. I'd be pissed if I were the owner. I'm sure the cops won't do anything.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I didn't call the cops. I doubted they would even come.
DeleteGood grief, it's all a bit weird and it would make me very suspicious.
ReplyDeleteI was definitely suspicious.
Deletethat is very curious! You could write 10+ short stories on this concept!!
ReplyDeletelol I probably could
DeleteDefinitely weird, but pretty tame compared to a lot that you see! I can't wait to find out the rest of the story.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if there will be anymore updates about this unless he does something else. lol
DeleteThis person obviously does not like, nor have any respect for boundaries.
ReplyDeletePeople on drugs usually don't.
DeleteAt least you have an explanation for his behavior!
ReplyDeleteYes, drugs.
DeleteMore questions with no answers. The guy is definitely weird. Stay safe!
