What personal data we collect and why we collect it.
Comments
When you leave comments on my site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address. We collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, subscribe to the newsletter, and fill out a form. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address for things like contests.
If you click to receive notifications of comments or reply notification, then your e-mail will be stored in a table of that plugin and you’ll receive an e-mail when I reply to your comment or if you click all comment you receive a new e-mail when someone comments on that post.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on my site you may decide to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

DeleteThat would be a tragedy if any of you walking your dog had the leash get out of your hand. Oh my what if they went running up onto the freeway.

DeleteMaybe somebody thought the lock was worth stealing. Or there are places in the big area of dirt beyond the gate where somebody could hide while doing drugs.

DeleteWe have such the Freeway too, however they are not free of charge. All vehicles who pass through the freeway must have ticket and pay some little entrance fees
ReplyDeleteSome of the freeways in the US have toll booths on them and you have to pay a charge to cross them.

ReplyDeleteWe get a lot of trash along our freeways, too, but I love that some of the court-appointed community service people have to do is clean it up once a month so its not as bad as it could be.
The city workers come every few months to clean up here.

DeleteThat's scary. There's a parking lot for a shopping complex near me that only has some bushes between it and the Interstate. Big bushes, but some I know dog got out and through those bushes onto the highway. Not a happy ending.

DeleteThe wide-open gate to the freeway is obviously dangerous. Who would have opened it? A homeless person perhaps?

DeleteScary and dangerous. A lot of litter too. Sadly in Scotland littering is a huge problem :-( I really don't like it. Over here we don't have gates like this near freeways or motorways as we call them.

DeleteSomeone did that to a fence dividing the apartments from a highway here so they could jaywalk to the liquor store. They fixed it a few times, but ended up giving up because people just kept breaking it as soon as it was fixed.
ReplyDeleteThere was a fence put up in between the block wall to keep people from going that way to the liquor store here. Unfortunately the fence hasn't been broken down for that place.
