Recipe: 4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

I don't know if you guys have seen that Peanut Butter cookie recipe on FB that says you can make then with just 4 ingredients? Well, I wanted to try it and they actually came out good. I was surprised.

Recipe:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. Vanilla

Blend all ingredients, roll into small balls and press criss cross marks into batter. Batter will not spread so press them down to the thickness you want them.
Bake for 15 minutes at 325 degrees.

I was surprised they came out so good. My grandson loved them.

Do you like peanut butter cookies?

  1. Yum. Sadly I suspect they fall into the 'moment on the lips, lifetime on the hips' category.

  3. I grew up eating criss cross peanut butter cookies a lot because my mom loves PB. I have not seen that recipe but they look good.

  8. My mom has made them that way since forever, minus the vanilla. When I was a Brownie Girl Scout, our troop made a recipe book. I brought that recipe in my head and wrote it on a scrap of paper for them. They scoffed at me and said that it's not possible to make cookies without flour. And my recipe wasn't put into our book.

  11. I make these all the time but I don't even add the vanilla. I love that I don't have to look up a recipe to have cookies :)
