Happy Christmas Month!
Tomorrow starts Christmas Month. So I will be adding a few posts this month Christmas related. So let's start this month off right and post about Krampus first. Who is Krampus? He is Santa's evil counterpart. While Santa gives all the good boys and girls presents, Krampus punishes the bad boys and girls. You don't want to get on this guys bad side, so you better be good or he'll be coming for ya!
Is this a little dark for Christmas? Well this blog is called, "Dark Thoughts" after all. Bwahahaha!

They should have department-store Krampuses that parents of chronically-misbehaving kids could take them to, as a warning to shape up. It couldn't hurt.
ReplyDeleteHa, I love it.
DeleteApparently, he's got horns of all sizes and shapes LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to behave...does it mean I should expect him to pay me a visit? 😜
lmao Yes, he's coming for ya.
DeleteI wonder whether Krampus and Santa ever swap jobs - a change is as good as a holiday after all...
ReplyDeletelol That would be something.
DeleteKrampus is a good counterpoint to the sugary sweetness and sentimentality that so often threatens to overtake people at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteOh yes.
DeleteConsidering where he originated, it's no wonder Krampus is dark.
ReplyDeleteChristmas is my favorite holiday and as sacred as Easter.
Enjoy the holiday season.
DeleteHe's a jolly old soul!
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteKrampus is a pretty terrifying holiday spirit.

DeleteLOL, must have the dark to show the light, right? Krampus would give me the willies as a little kid. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I would have liked him even as a kid. lol
DeleteThere are so many wonderful celebrations in December. I loved teaching in multicultural schools where we shared it all.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a great month for that.
DeleteKrampus is new to me too!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I'm surprised how many people have never heard of him.
