Favorite Picture of the Week
This picture was taken at 2PM one day this week. Some sun was trying to poke out between the cloud above and it made the clouds look blue for a moment, but there were so many dark clouds. Not a drop of rain though.
Just a few minutes later on the way home.
Same time just looking towards the North.
Later that night as the sun was getting ready to set, the wind picked up and was blowing around 40 mph for a while. Gusts were higher. The clouds were moving by fast.
The next day we still had clouds and some wind.
And then that night as the sun was setting there was just this one big cloud close to me, so I took a picture of it. Most of the clouds cleared out with the winds.

Those dark clouds look ominous, they look like storm clouds so it's a surprise that it didn't rain.
ReplyDeleteWe get a lot of clouds and little rain.
DeleteIt is the same with my part of the country, it will get all dark like all hell is about to get lose and then not a drop drops upon us poor thirsty souls. We are turning into Nevada, we have not had rain in two months now.
ReplyDeleteIt's so weird. Monsoon season is coming so maybe we'll get some rain in a couple of months.
DeleteIt's amazing that you have such dense, dark clouds, but no rain.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is so weird.

ReplyDeleteHere it's just another day. lol
DeleteEerie black Skies one day and then fabulous blue the next! How are black Skies yesterday did bring us lots of rain. There's places that need it far worse than us right now.

ReplyDeleteIt happens. Maybe you'll catch the next one.
DeleteDefinitely an ominous sky! Strange that there was no rain. A sky like that in Florida means only one thing. MONSOON! Haha.
ReplyDeleteOur monsoon season starts in July.
DeleteYou get some good skies over there.
ReplyDeleteWe do.
DeleteI love those unique blue clouds. Bummer you got no rain from them.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Rain makes people drive crazy anyway so maybe it's a good thing we didn't.
