Freebie Friday!
Welcome to another weekly Freebie Friday post, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.
A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.
You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.
This week I received:
An 8 piece storage drawer organizer set. It's supposed to organize makeup inside a dresser drawer. But I used the plastic tub organizers in my bathroom cabinets and on my bedroom dressers to organize all my little samples I've received because I have so many of them. They worked well for that.
Did you receive any freebies this week?

Book Review: Taken by Rebecca Zanetti
Book Description
Hunter Holt might be the most stubborn ex-soldier ever born, but when he's called on to help find a lost foster kid, he jumps into action. Even if it means working with the woman who broke his heart five years ago--the woman who still haunts his dreams . . .
Faye Smith has spent five long years trying to get her life back on track. She knows she should've turned toward Hunter and not away from him, but they both had too many demons to destroy. Maybe now they'll get another chance--and save someone else's life too . . .
But first they'll have to stop arguing long enough to trust the Deep Ops team. Hunter was a lost boy himself once. In fact, he ran away from the exact same man, their monster of a father. Now he and Faye will have to unite to find the brother he never knew--and maybe each other . . .
My Review
Faye, Hunter and Raider were all in Miss A's (Miss Angelina's) foster home as kids. They became friends and are still friends now years later. Hunter and Faye were an item for a while but broke up years ago. But when Miss A sends Faye to tell Hunter that one of her newest foster kids has gone missing and is probably his half brother, Hunter has no choice but to help Faye find the kid. And we see right away that Faye and Hunter still have feelings for each other. When Hunter calls Raider and asks for his help, he's all in as well. Raider is working for a secretive Deep Ops team though and neither Hunter not Faye know anything about what he does. Raider shows up with a colleague named Wolfe from the Deep Ops team they both work for.
Jackson, the foster kid who ran away with a crazy woman, Louise is in big trouble and danger since the crazy woman he's running with has killed people as she's robbing convenience store and now they're both on the run. The danger really kicks it up a notch when police and bounty hunters join in the hunt for Jackson and the Louise. The Deep Ops team dog, Roscoe is so strange and has a penchant for alcohol. He was funny though, I would love to see more of the dog.
Hunter and Jackson's father really sounds like a piece of work and should have been given a little payback for the way he treated his kids. Poor Jackson is all messed up because of his father. Jackson didn't realize exactly what Louise was doing and Hunter calls his a couple of times to talk to him but Jackson doesn't trust Hunter because they didn't know the other even existed until now. But Hunter is trying to help Jackson if only he'll let him.
I've only read a couple of the books in this series and am totally reading them out of order but they are standalone books so I've been able to do that no problem. I really enjoyed this book and recommend the series.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Book Review: The Dragon Berserker's Mate by Harlow Blaze
Book Description
A ring from Prince Charming, or a kiss from a green-eyed monster?
Hazel
Forced to flee her home in the dead of night, Hazel finds herself staring down the barrel of some grim career trajectories. She’s got half a therapy degree and a massive debt, and neither will put a roof over her head. The Seattle dragon shifters offer an escape.
Marrying rich might not be a modern woman’s solution, but she’s not turning down a literal Prince Charming. And look on the bright side. Arranged marriages can end in true love, right? There’s one small obstacle to marital bliss—Jay, her surly new bodyguard.
Gorgeous, dangerous, and only dubiously sane, Jay is everything she can’t want. But staying in his apartment draws out her darkest desires. The kind designed to lead good girls astray. If Hazel gives in to their electric attraction, it’ll cost her dream.
A happily ever after.
Jay
Jay is at war with his own mind. He’s sacrificed everything to imprison his homicidal inner dragon. And it’s staying that way, no matter the effect on his fragile sanity. Getting saddled with a therapist for a roommate proves karma has a sick sense of humor.
His body’s reaction to Hazel in his home shows that he’s even sicker. All that matters is securing an alliance with a rival eyrie. Little Miss Sunshine is getting hitched if Jay has to drag her down the aisle himself. His inner beast has other ideas. His instincts don’t care that Hazel is engaged to another man. Her delicious scent and gentle soul spark a craving that threatens to drive him mad.
He’s supposed to be guarding her chastity, but he aches to taste her, claim her. If Hazel frees the monster inside him, it’ll destroy them both.
The Dragon Berserker’s Mate is the second novel in the Bad Dragon’s Bride series. It can be read as a standalone—featuring its own couple, steam, and a happily ever after.
My Review
Hazel flees her step father's home after the dragon mark appears on her chest, signifying that she can mate a dragon shifter and produce children with them. Since female dragon shifters are very rare, these human women are sought after. If you've read this series from the beginning, you know how human women started getting the mark. If you haven't read this series yet, you should start from the beginning since it will make more sense to you if you do. This can be read a standalone but you get the whole story of the mark if you read from the beginning. So Hazel is in debt, running from her step father who turned into a jerk after her mother died and she agrees to mate with a dragon shifter in order to have a better life as long as she's able to have kids.
Jay is a grumpy dragon shifter with a completely crazy dragon inside him that he has locked away and never let's out. He's picked by his alpha to be the bodyguard of Hazel while she is there with them until her marriage to Lance, who has agreed to mate and marry her in order to have kids.
Lance is from another group of dragon shifters and they are all hopeful that finding a mate for Lance will bring the two clans together and keep the peace a bit. Lance seems nice enough but Hazel isn't in love with him even though he's doing nice things for her. Hazel does feel something for Jay though and keeping her hands and feelings to herself while they live in the same place isn't easy. Jay feels the pull to Hazel as well but he's not going to mate with her because he doesn't feel like a whole dragon shifter since he's had to lock his dragon away inside him. He wants her to have a chance at happiness with a normal dragon shifter and Lance seems to fit the bill.
Things aren't always as they seem though and they realize that they can't keep away from each other which puts Jay in a precarious position with his alpha. But there's a really good twist and a betrayal that changes everything for them. I loved watching Jay and Hazel come together because they really were made for each other. The twist was done so well, I never saw that coming. I highly recommend this series, it just keeps getting better.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout but all thoughts and opinions are my won.

Review: Daily Goodie Box- June
The Daily Goodie Box has been around since about July of 2016. I signed up for an account right after I heard about them. They are 100% free, you don't even have to pay for shipping. And for a free box it's a nice sampler box of products.
What was in the box?
Flathau’s Fine Foods - Maddy's Shortbread Cookies- I loved these cookies. Most shortbread cookies crumble to easily but not these. They had a crispiness to them that I really liked. These were my favorite thing in this month's box.
Hydration Health - Pro Play Hydration- I don't usually like these drink mixes but this one had a good taste to it. You just mix it with water and it's ready to drink.
Zolli Candy - Keto Pops- These are low on carbs so they are good for someone with Diabetes like me. But they also have a good taste to them. I added them to the candy dish and my grandson loved them.
Boomerang - Energy Drink- I'm not big on energy drinks so I poured a little to taste this and I didn't care for the taste. I gave the rest of the can to my daughter and she drank it before work. She said she felt a little more energy and the taste wasn't bad for her. So I guess if you already drink energy drinks and don't mind the taste it's not bad.
Trilogia - Hand Cleanse- This is 70% alcohol so it does smell like alcohol like most of the hand sanitizer's. It works as well as any of the other hand sanitizer's but I like the spray bottle. I can spray some on a handle or my hands and it's small enough to fit in my purse.
2x4 Health - Immune Strength- This had vitamind D in it which I already take everyday so I liked that. You only have to take 2 tsp. each day to get the full effect from this which is nice. The taste isn't very good though. I'll have to hide it in a drink.
Hubbard Peanut Company - Hubs Power Packs- I like peanuts and these are good. I like that they are small packs that I could take with me if I am going to be out and need a small snack.
Avarelle - Acne Cover Patches- Every once in a while I'll get a pimple so when I do I'll try these out. If anything these patches will keep me from picking at the spot while it goes away.
All they ask you to do is try the products and leave reviews for the products you got in order to be eligible for more Free Goodie Boxes. As you guys already know, I'm a fan of all these types of boxes. I love all the different subscription boxes and it's really nice to be able to try new to me products for free. This is a great box to try for.
Oh and one more thing, if you visit their FB Page, they give away Goodie Boxes to people who interact with their posts. So if you've tried before and weren't able to get a Goodie Box, there's even more ways to get one now.
Have you signed up? Have you received one of these boxes?
I'm a fan of subscription boxes and love trying new products for free so this was a huge hit with me. New products+free box = Fabulous!
Disclosure: I was given and free box in exchange for a review but all opinions are my own.

Apartment Life #308
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 24 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 24 years here in a weekly blog post.
This car pulled up and set out a lamp, and a couple of other things that were all broken and was obvious it came from someone's trash. They taped a sign to a post that said, "Sidewalk Sale".
But what they were really doing was selling drugs from the back of the car. And somehow people knew it. People kept pulling up to the car, and buying something small from the guy that was sitting in the back. People would ride up on bicycles or walk up and buy something from the guy sitting in the back of the car. They stayed for a couple of hours and left. The lamp and other things they had sitting out all went in our garbage can.
I was out walking Falcor and noticed two ambulances in the parking lot of the grocery store next door to me. I saw someone come out of one of the stores on a stretcher and the ambulance rode off. Then this ambulance that was farther away pulled up closer to the front of the store but they just sat there.
I don't know if anyone else was taken to the hospital. I know the pictures are awful because I took it with my phone. But you get the idea.
The high this week was 109F/42C
The low this week was 77F/25C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

A fluted glass tumbler from Walmart Spark Reviewer.
Astepro allergy nasal spray from Influenster.
8 more Covid tests. Salonpas pain patch and another sample of the same perfume I received a couple of weeks ago.
I love the glass. I can always use more drinking glasses since I have seemed to have broken most of mine. lol
I like having more Covid tests on hand since when my daughter got Covid a few months ago and her work required a test proof that she actually had it. And it was really hard to find anywhere in town to get one.
I tried the Astepro nasal spray once and that was it. First off it didn't work and I have allergy problems all the time and this did nothing to relieve the symptoms. But the worst thing was how bad it tasted and how the taste lasted 5 hours before it finally went away. I've tried other nasal sprays and never had that happen for more than a few minutes. It was awful. I cannot recommend this product at all.
Did you receive any freebies this week?

Book Review: Tavarr's Mate A Dark Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Kleaxian Warriors Book 2) by Sue Lyndon
Book Description
I am fated to belong to a seven-foot tall alien warrior named Tavarr. He's coming for me soon.
My name is Katrina. After the Kleaxians attacked the humans on Tallia, I was captured by a cruel alien named Vonn. He claimed me as his mate, but tormented me for weeks and even tried to kill me. When he was executed for his crimes, I thought my nightmare had finally come to an end. But then his older brother, Tavarr, shows up burning with a biological urge to claim me.
Darkly handsome Tavarr's mere presence makes my body hum with pleasure, and his touch prompts a relentless ache between my thighs. But I'm worried he's too much like his brother. What if he tries to kill me too?
Despite my fears, I'm drawn to the tenderness in Tavarr's dark otherworldly gaze, and I want to believe his intentions are true. However, the flashes of primal lust in his purple eyes don't escape my notice. When it's time to claim me, I don't think he'll be quite as gentle as promised.
Publisher's Note: Tavarr's Mate is a DARK sci-fi alien romance, containing explicit scenes and themes of power exchange, as well as scenes some readers may find triggering or disturbing. If such dark subject matter offends you, please do not buy this book. This story takes place in the same world as Kenan's Mate, however it can be enjoyed as a standalone title.
My Review
Katrina was on planet Tallia with the human who she thought was a good guy at first but he turns out to be a horribly controlling man. He's a scientist and shows her awful pictures of how he and his colleagues are experimenting on the Kleaxians on the planet and think they'll get away with it because they don't think the aliens are all that smart or can fight back. But boy were they wrong.
On the day that Katrina is ready to escape her horrible life on Tallia and board a ship back to Earth, the Kleaxians choose that day to attack the Earthlings on Tallia. But they also destroy the wormhole and the ship Katrina was about to board. Now she has no way to get back to Earth so she runs back to the man she was trying to escape, only the Kleaxians find the lab and kill all the men including the guy she was with.
When Vonn spots her, he can smell the scientist's scent who killed his mate on her and mistakenly thinks she is the scientists mate. So he takes her as a mate in order to get revenge for his mate dying. She finds out later that the Kleaxians only killed the male humans and are keeping the females as slaves and mates. Vonn is very abusive to her and almost kills her. But one of the slaves next door tells his master what's going on and they save her. Not all the Kleaxians are as abusive and awful as Vonn was. And because of his actions, Vonn is killed. Katrina has time to heal and is told she won't be given to another mate for a year but then Vonn's brother comes to town and because of some cultural law, he is able to take Katrina as his mate.
He's promised not to be abusive but Katrina doesn't trust him after the ordeal she's been through. I almost put this book down but I wanted to wait until Tavarr made an appearance to see what he was like and he ended up being a great hero. I loved him even though some of the customs of his people are really weird. Like the woman have to walk on leashes behind their mates. But Tavarr ends up making Katrina happy and they form the mate bond which she never had with Vonn. I realize that she's attracted to Tavarr and that makes being taken as his mate a little easier but it seemed like she would be more skittish and scared of him after what she had already endured by one of the aliens who just happened to be his brother. That was the only thing that gave me pause while I read this book.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Book Review: Swerve by Sherilee Gray
Book Description
Rescuing a distressed redhead in a Poison Ivy costume is the last thing Hugh should be doing, especially in the car he's just boosted.
He definitely shouldn’t be asking her to share one hot night with him, not when he could bring danger to her door. But a thief like him can't offer more, no matter how much he wants to.
After a confidence shattering, career destroying break-up, Shay swore off relationships forever. So it's a good thing the raw, bearded, mountain of a man who came to her aide, isn't her type.
But as one reckless hot night leads to another, their casual, no-strings affair starts to feel like so much more. Can two hearts with too many secrets dare for a future?
My Review
After Shay broke up with her jerk of a boyfriend, she isn't looking for another relationship. She's at a costume party dressed as Poison Ivy when on her way home she meets Hugh. He saves her from a guy who had been bothering her at the party and followed her out. Hugh is a big guy, very intimidating so it doesn't take much convincing for the other guy to take off. When Hugh offers Shay a ride home, she isn't sure she should trust him but she finally does and gets a ride home.
Hugh isn't the kind of guy that should be trying to get a sweet woman like Shay in his bed, even for a night. With the business he and his brother are in, he could bring trouble to her door fairly easily. Hugh steals cars for a guy that's holding something over his head. But he only has to steal a couple more cars to get out of this deal for good. Too bad the bad guy is going to do whatever it takes to keep Hugh stealing for him.
Hugh let's Shay know that he wants to spend the night with her but she's reluctant at first even though she's attracted to him. Hugh let's her know he's not looking for a relationship, just one night and she agrees since she isn't looking for one either.
The sexy times are abundant and graphic especially after Hugh doesn't want it to be just a one night stand. They agree to keep seeing each other but only for sex. That bothered me a little because they got closer but they really only got together for sex so how could either of them want any kind of relationship when they didn't know each other? So we got page after page of sex with very little story. We know that Hugh is a thief but wants out. We know that Shay has an ex that wants her back but wants to change everything about her in order to make her acceptable to be around his friends and family. And then we find out that Shay's mother was a real winner, leaving Shay to care for herself and go hungry when she was little before dumping her on her grandmother's doorstep and not looking back.
Shay's mom shows up and steals from her again, since it wasn't the first time. But Shay doesn't stand up to her mother and lets her walk all over her which is why the mother felt like she could do it again. Shay is too much of a pushover for my liking. But Hugh is too crude and vulgar for my liking.
So all in all it ended well but it wasn't great for me.
I give this book 2 out of 5 stars.

Book Review: Ruwen by Kate Rudolph and Starr Huntress
Book Description
Ru’s species is cursed. He’ll be dead by his next birthday if he doesn't find his mate...
Ruwen knows he's a goner. His alien species is cursed by a deadly genetic quirk and he'll be dead before the month is out, unless he finds his fated mate. She's the only woman in the universe who can save him. It's too bad that most Detyen women are dead. But could he find hope with a human?
Abducted, ditched, and on the run from vicious aliens...
After being kidnapped from Earth by unknown foes, Lis has been dropped on a inhospitable planet with little food and no hope. She'll do anything to find a ship to take her back to Earth, but Polai is hostile to all alien life, and Lis is running out of places to hide. Can she trust the alien who looks at her with heat in his eyes?
An impossible chance...
From the moment he sees her, Ru knows Lis is his mate. But she's already wounded and distrustful of aliens. How can he prove that he’s trustworthy? If he can’t overcome Lis’s fears, their bond will break before it has a chance to form, leaving Ru dead and Lis all alone in a hostile galaxy.
Detyens are doomed to die young if they don't find their fated mates. The Mated to the Alien series can be read in any order and there are no cliffhangers!
Get your taste of these fated mates in ebook, audio, and print!
My Review
Ru knows that he doesn't have long time to live because he hasn't found his mate. So he's taken one more mission and hopes to complete it so he can collect the money and live out his last days in peace. But while on his mission he finds a human female that was mistakenly kidnapped and brought to this alien planet and left. He knows right away that she's his mate but she doesn't trust him at all because of the ordeal she's been through.
Lis has been on her own ever since she was kidnapped and left on the alien planet. She tried to get help from the aliens who lived there but they aren't friendly at all so when Ru finds her and tries to help her, she's not willing to trust him at all. He has to blast her with his stun weapon and bring her back to his ship in order to place a translator on her so they can communicate.
All she wants is to go home but he knows if he can't get her to accept him as her mate that he will die. He's not going to tell her that though and asks her to give him a chance in the time it takes for him to get his mission completed. She agrees to give him a chance while they are together but she actually starts to feel something for him pretty straight away and she doesn't understand why. He doesn't really explain why she might feel something for him or about how he'll die if she doesn't agree to be his mate.
Watching them get to know each other and fall for each other was really fun to watch. But I would have liked more of a back story as to what Lis endured after being kidnapped since we were just told is was bad but not what happened. I would have liked more of a back story on both of them as well to get to know them both better. But this was a fun little alien story.
I give this book 3 out of 5 stars.

Apartment Life #307
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life.
This week I heard a bunch of yelling outside and looked out my window to see the ambulance one building down in my apartment complex from me. They brought someone out in a stretcher and took them away.
A few minutes later the fire truck parked in front of my bedroom window. They all got out and went down to where the ambulance had just left. I heard more shouting from down there but didn't see anyone. I don't know what happened but no police showed up.
---
On Thursday night at 10pm, my daughter was down by her friends apartment in the last building down the street in our complex when several police officers walked into that courtyard. Her friend wasn't home so she didn't stick round so I'm not sure what was going on.
But a little while later I heard a quick siren and looked outside to see 5 police cars driving down my street. One police car stopped at the end of my street and stayed there for about 10 minutes. The other 4 police cars went around the corner. Then the one that was parked t the end of my street drove off. I have no idea what was going on but I looked outside a couple more times and twice I saw more police cars driving by. But I don't know what was going on.
all in all it was another pretty quiet week.
The high this week was 103F/39C
The low this week was 67F/19C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

Book Review: Savage & Silver by Margo Bond Collins
Book Description
Introduction to Blaize Silver, a multi-great granddaughter of Ruby Silver who is the heroine in "Wild Wild Ghost."
My Review
This is the first book by this author that I've read and I got it free from the author's newsletter. This is supposed to be an introduction to the series so I thought I would read it. But I felt lost from the very beginning. We really don't get any background into these characters at all which was irritating and didn't make sense.
Blaize is in Tombstone when she has a run in with a couple of werewolves, when she gets away she goes to her father and tells him about it. Her father seems like a jerk of a person but we really don't get to know him much so that's the only impression I have of him. When she travels back to Tombstone, her cousin Grace shows up to help out. They are confronted by two werewolves and they kill them but a third werewolf helps them which they though was really weird. And then the demon who cursed her family shows up and taunts them and Grace dies. The werewolf who helped them travels back to her father's place with Blaize and for someone who doesn't like or trust werewolves I found this really weird.
This book gives us no insight into why they battle the werewolves or if all werewolves are bad and why they're bad. And if they're all bad why did this one help her and why is she trusting it to travel with her now. This book was a bunch on contradictions rolled into a bloody mess of a fight. Why did this demon curse her family and who is he? There are too many questions left unanswered and I know this is just an introduction to this series but the introduction wasn't very good so I doubt I will be going forward with this series.
I give this book 1 out of 5 stars.

Book Review: Guarding Her by Katie Reus
Book Description
She never wanted fame…
After a video of her modeling her friend’s new clothing line goes viral, Gia suddenly finds herself thrust into the spotlight. She never wanted fame—she was just having fun and helping a friend. Unfortunately now she’s got a target on her back. Someone out there will do anything to destroy her. Someone who wants her dead.
Now she’s paying the price…
As his best friend’s sister, Gia is off limits. She’s also the woman of Lawson’s dreams—and hottest fantasies. When she’s targeted by a vicious stalker, all bets are off. As a Red Stone Security expert, he’ll keep her safe at any cost. What he doesn’t know is how he’s going to keep her out of his bed, because he’s never wanted anyone as badly as he wants her. He’s all about rules—it’s why he’s such a good bodyguard—while she seems determined to test his control at every step. But if they want to survive, they’ll have to work together to stop the killer…before it’s too late.
Author note: all books in this series may be read as stand-alones, complete with HEA.
My Review
Gia agrees to model her friends clothing line for her but she never expected a video of her modeling a swimsuit would go viral. Not only does it get great comments but a few bad ones as well and one person in particular has become obsessed with her overnight fame and is not happy about it.
Lawson likes Gia and finds her attractive but she's his best friends sister so that means she's off limits. When his best friend get married and goes off on his honeymoon, Lawson takes it upon himself to keep Gia safe when a series of bad things happen to her. Lawson works for a security company so he knows how to keep her safe but when Gia's brother finds out that his sister and Lawson are staying at his place alone, he is not happy about it.
I liked being in the stalker's head and reading what he was thinking. It's always interesting to see how far they will go but even though we could see what he was thinking, I had no idea who it was until it was revealed.
Having Gia and Lawson thrown together in order to keep her safe was a great way to force them to see how much they felt for each other. I liked the romance and the stalker scenes. It was a fun read with the danger and romance taking place.

17 Years Blogging! Happy Blogoversary to Me!
It's my Blogoversary!
It's hard to believe that 17 years ago I started this blog. At first I had no idea what to write about. I still pretty much write about whatever I want to most days so I'm glad that so many of you seem to enjoy my posts.
A lot of things have changed in the last 17 years. My daughter is all grown up and now I have an 9 year old grandson. I used to have hamsters, rats and gerbils and now have a very energetic Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua named Falcor who turned 8 years old this month.
My blog has changed as I've changed over the years. I've met a lot of really wonderful people and made quite a few friends along the way. I've ranted, reviewed, shared my thoughts and advice. I don't think I ever really thought that I would still be blogging 17 years later or that anyone would read what I had to say, but many of you do and I thank you for sticking with me through so many years.
Most of my old followers know that my husband of 30 years found out he had stage 4 lung cancer in the beginning of 2020 and he passed away just 8 short months later. All of the cards, emails and messages really pulled me through and I cannot thank you all enough for that.
So for all of you followers that have been here for a long time and for those of you that are fairly new, I just want to thank you for visiting, commenting and enjoying what I've been posting over the years. I hope we'll all be around and blogging for many years to come.

Apartment Life #306
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life.
I heard a police siren outside and looked out my bedroom window and sure enough the police had a couple of tweakers pulled over on the sidewalk. I watched a while and both of them were put in handcuffs and put in the police car. They were both taken away so I assume that they were arrested. They are fairly new tweakers around here and I've only seen them down at drug dealer's apartment a couple of times. Hopefully they don't come back.
I heard some loud noises at 7am one morning and looked outside to see a couple of trucks on my street. They were putting the reflective round plastic things in the middle of the road that you can see at night.
I did get one good close up picture of the truck when it came back by and parked in front of my window.
It was a fairly quiet week this week.
---
The high this week was 103F/39C
The low this week was 67F/19C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
